LEARNING STEAM WITH LEGO EDUCATION
LEGO® Education Preschool Solutions for early learning is designed to help teachers develop children’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) skills, including understanding cause and effect relationships, making predictions and observations, problem-solving, and creating representations.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
We can show you how you can have teams of children work to build an amusement park with rides, stands, animals and other attractions. In the course of building the park, the kids are introduced to the workings of gears and ramps, movement in water, chain reactions, probability, performance, problem-solving and collaboration, among other lessons. Furthermore, the LEGO® DUPLO® building activities will reinforce the children’s creativity.

STRAWBEES EDUCATION FOR ALL AGES
Strawbees is an award-winning and lightweight construction system for all ages. It is a kit based on simple units called Strawbees, that lets you connect straws to each other and build little to huge mechanical objects from just straws. We believe playing and having fun is the best way to learn about the world, so we tried to bring this into classrooms with Strawbees.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
In this hands-on workshop, you will get to experience how Strawbees can sculpt ideas into exciting projects that incorporate Engineering (building), Art (creativity) and Math (counting) for your little kiddos! The series of activities will stimulate everybody to think out of the box and take you through an engaging journey starting from learning the basic locks and joints, to building simple geometric shapes and constructing complex, giant projects. Conditions of Registration
1. Experience Workshop is only available for Preschool Educators from Preschool Market Special Treats Campaign 2019.
2. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email of the Workshop from Duck Learning within 3 to 5 working days.
Training Venue
3. Training will be conducted at Duck Learning Singapore’s facilities, unless otherwise advised.
Workshop Cancellation
4. The minimum number of registrants required for a Workshop to be confirmed is 5. In the event of low sign-ups, Duck Learning will notify registrants 3 working days prior to the workshop starting. We reserve the right to cancel an experience workshop 5 days before the workshop commences if the number of registrants is below the minimum requirements.
Photography and filming
5. Duck Learning may wish to photograph or film the Workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the Workshop) photographing or filming you and any persons attending the Workshop with you.
