In these workshops, students will build and explore real-life machines and mechanisms, as well as investigate powered machines with motors and explore gearing mechanisms with assorted gear wheels. As students proceed to build more complex mechanisms, they will be tasked to make accurate observations, measurements and records, and to design their own solutions to the challenge given to them. The hands-on activities will help students explore concepts such as forces and motion, Newtonian mechanics, energy, work done as well as pressure and electrical systems.
There are three types of Interactions & Energy workshops available for different levels:
– Interactions & Energy
– Interactions & Energy with Renewable Energy
– Interactions & Energy with Pneumatics
Subjects covered: Mathematics and Science
