Coding with Scratch 3.0 Intermediate Online Course

This course is a continuation of our Coding for Scratch 3.0 Beginner Course.

This course aims to strengthen core coding skills to help students reach a higher level in their coding journey. These skills will not only make better gamers and animators out of the child, but will also prepare them for text-based coding with languages such as Python or Java. The course consists of 5 lessons. Each lesson is project based. There is also a quiz after each lesson. Upon passing the quizzes and completion of the course, each child will be rewarded with a Certificate of Completion.

What is Scratch 3.0

Scratch is a block-based visual programming language developed by MIT designed for children aged 7 and above. You can use it to create games, animations and even your own interactive stories. This easy drag and drop interface makes it easy for kids to learn how to code even though they are not as proficient with a keyboard yet.

Scratch 3.0 is the next generation of Scratch – designed to expand how, what, and where you can create with Scratch. It includes dozens of new sprites, a totally new sound editor, and many new programming blocks. And with Scratch 3.0, you are able to create and play projects on your tablet, in addition to your laptop or desk computer.
