Duck Learning in collaboration with LEGO Education and Pitsco Education are proud to present the following workshops for the Robotics Junior portion of the ICT Roadmap in the Robotics & Makers domain by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore for Infocomm Clubs in schools in Singapore.
The Justice Builder – Build to Express event is organized by Whitley Secondary School NPCC Unit where they invite all NPCC Units and Primary Schools to participate in this competition.The objectives of this competition are as follow:
– Have more awareness of Crime Prevention
– To have flexibility – being able to respond to different circumstances
– Encourage innovation and sharing of different ideas
– Participants have the opportunity to guide, lead and collaborate as a team

Code for Fun Enrichment Programme (done jointly by IDA and MOE) is offered to all MOE primary and secondary schools to increase students’ exposure to coding and computational thinking.
Fees for students’ training and purchase of education kits under the programme are heavily subsidised by IDA (up to 70% for students training and 50% for education kits). Please download the application form for more details.

FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) is an international enquiry-based programme teaching students ages 9 through Print16 about science, technology and collaborative working. FLL® is a partnership between the non-profit organisation FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO® Group. It had its first season in 1998. Now over 230,000 students from 80 countries take part.
Impact studies show that students gain an increased interest in science and technology by working with FLL®. FLL® does this by providing a practical and engaging way of involving students in the subject areas.
The National Junior Robotics Competition (NJRC) is an exciting and unique event organised by Science Centre Singapore, Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) and DSO National Laboratories.
This robotics competition encourages students to develop problem solving skills, entrepreneurial skills, creative thinking skills and team spirit among the participants. The NJRC is about celebrating the process of learning through interactive, meaningful experiences.
